The 2008 Interfaith Hospitality Network Golf Scramble
On 8/26/08, 34 teams hit the Locust Hills Golf Course at 8:30 am, in support of raising funds for the Interfaith Hospitality Network. The day started with registration of the golfers by the staff and volunteers consisting of Joy Vance-Haynes, Rindy Haynes, Dixie Schmid, Pat Kunce, Anne Neff, Ed Williams, Karen Williams, Ed Baldwin, Ira Brooks, and Cheryl Bush.
In addition, each golfer received snacks, water, and soft drinks, through the donations of various supporting businesses in our community. At the end of the day, all golfers received door prizes, also through the generous donations of various businesses in our community. And last but not least, each golfer and volunteer received a delicious meal prepared by Locust Hills Golf Course.
All those involved enjoyed a beautiful day on the golf course and the fulfillment of contributing to the effort of Interfaith Hospitality Network having the ability to continue to provide the services so desperately needed by those who are less fortunate in our community. The Interfaith Hospitality Network wants to express our sincere gratitude for all those who took the time out of their day in order to support our mission.
Thanks for all your help and God Bless!
