A Community Response to Homelessness
A Glimpse of Hope..
On Monday, June 7th, several golfers will suffer from shortness of breath, feel slightly faint and experience a great deal of fatigue to help the Interfaith Hospitality Network lend a helping hand to give homeless families an opportunity to start over. Please join our labor of love by sponsoring a golfer in the Golf Marathon as we recklessly go on the hunt and prowl for hundreds of little white balls from dawn to dusk. All proceeds from the Golf Marathon will benefit The Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Your sponsorship will help Interfaith Hospitality Network of Springfield rescue homeless families with children from hopelessness and despair. IHN not only provides them with a safe place to sleep and nourishing meals, but they also counsel them and help them change their lives. IHN trains them to live independently, with jobs and homes of their own; as well as throwing them a spiritual life line.
On Monday, June 7th, each golfer’s goal is to play 100 holes of golf or more in a single day. Your sponsorship is fully tax deductible.
Homeless families - sleeping in their cars or under the bridges and wondering where they can get their next nourishing meal -- are around. You may not see them but they are here, in our community. Without the support of the Interfaith Hospitality Network by people like you, they will remain as they are - tired and hungry, hopeless and hurting, frightened and alone.
