Pictured above left is IHN Executive Director Charlie Bush receiving a check from Locust Hills Golf Course employee Jim Smith from the Locust Hills Golf Course Appreciation Day on November 2nd. In addition, IHN received a total of 27 turkeys as their portion of the turkeys that golfers brought to the golf course that day. The turkeys in turn were distributed to needy families and individuals currently in the IHN Transitional Housing Program. A big THANK YOU to the Locust Hills Golf Course.

Emmanuel Christian Academy’s “2009 Serve-A-Thon” was held on Friday, May 8, 2009. Student advisors and students completed many outside tasks such as sweeping and weeding the parking lot and removing trash from both sides of the railroad tracks at Interfaith Hospitality Network.

Catholic Central Service Day – Friday, April 3, 2009
The students and advisor came with shovels, rakes, wheelbarrow and ponchos! Their goal for the day was to shovel mulch and put it in our new “age five and under” playground. What a day they had . . . coping with rain and cold weather! Their goal was accomplished! NORTHWESTERN MIDDLE SCHOOL FCCLA ROCK-A-THON
MAKE DONATION TO IHN

A total of 13 FCCLA members participated in the rock-a-thon to raise money for Interfaith Hospitality Network
In addition to the above three young ladies: Gracie Leep, Samantha Lay, Carrie Newman, Kaylea Massie, Abby Parrett, Paige Howard, Dianne Spencer, Kayla Hurley and Natasha Callison rocked for seven straight hours with five minute breaks each hour.

Ridgewood School Donation
The students (K-8) of Ridgewood School collected and donated paper products (paper plates, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, etc.) for Interfaith Hospitality Network.
